Looking for getting a new car... for racing only required to have a shift sliver or black car... the year must be 1997........ :)

Not to be rude but for racing a Del Sol is a bad choice. Its very heavy for its size, and because of the targa top, the body is very weak.
I know I have owned 2 myself, there great cars, very fun and the vtec coupe has a b16a (160hp) but because there front wheel drive and kinda heavy, there not good race cars.
Also, because of the targa top, you can't get a roll cage to pass regulation very easy.
If you are looking for something very affordable try these.
92-95 civic hatchback
240sx all
86 and previous corolla
rx7 (any non-convertable)
And I think money to performance, you cant get better then the S2000 (I own one)

those are one of the slowest honda's ever made, gaining them the Del Slow nickname. but still cheaper than s2000 for a convertable honda.
