I actually believe there are over 11 with the application of string theory and "M" Theory. Though they are only "theories" they pack quite an arguement to our exsistance and the dimensional aspectsof it ..... I am Mormon (Christian) and I do believe in God; yet that doesnt have to go against the scientific laws of our exsistance that HE has place upon "everything" in His creation. If you want to know more about our dimensions and how they work (Time being a dimension included in our exsistance also) you should try to study a little about string theory and Quantum mechanics/physics... A GREAT MOVIE IS ---- "What The Bleep Do We Know".. OMG !! It is awsome to watch and learn about dimensions and time... Really good one you should check out..... Hey good luck with your answers and See ya in another dimension!! JK.... ;-)

Yes. It's generally accepted that time is the fourth dimension, but besides that, most theories in physics today either postulate or actually require extra dimensions. String theory is probably the most well-known, requiring 11 total dimensions (10 space, 1 time). Heim's theory requires at least 6, as I recall.

And I'm Christian, though I'm not sure why that matters...

They say time is the fourth but Einstein insists on space and time as ONE....space/time. He said that you can't have one without the other. There are theories of 10 dimensions which contain theories called "string theories." Don't ask me to elaborate because I can't. Read up if you are interested. I believe in at least ONE supreme being far beyond what we could imagine. I don't disclude helpers of "god-like-to-us" abilities. Just imagine that we have been "intelligent" for maybe 150,000 years on a planet 4 Billion years old. There are likely planets which are 5, 6, 7, maybe 10 Billion years old. Can you imagine a civilization 1000 years more advanced then us? How about 1,000,000,000 years more advanced (ONE BILLION!)???

Yes I do. I am a Christian; I am a mathematician and work with infinite dimensions all the time.

To name a 4 dimensional object take the klein bottle for example. See the arrowed square under "properties" in the below link to get a mental picture as you can't really embed it in 3D.

I believe in GOD, profess no certain "religion", and believe time is the fourth dimension, and think there may be others we are not cognizant of, just as we cannot hear some sounds, or see some colors.

yes, there are multiple dimensions past the third, ive seen a drawing of a fourth-dimension object in 3-d and if you stretch the 4-d drawing perpedicular to itself, you get a 5th dimensional object and so on...

No holy book has anything to say about extra _physical dimensions_. If you are thinking of physical dimensions, there are many more, but they are too wound-up and small for you to detect.

LDS. Definately more than 3 + time. I think 10 or 11.

absolutly more than three dimensions. Easiest answer is tiem is the fourth, but read up on string theory.

Roman Catholic and no it does not impact my opinion on this
