computers are duarble then laptops. Laptops are so sensetive and they can get damaged quickly especially when u have youg siblings. PC's are way better but if ur alone and u travel alot or u need it for business then laptops are better because u can carry it where ever u need it

Only because of how they are used. Today's laptops are pretty sturdy, but they're made to be transported, where desktop computers are not made for frequent changes in locale. As a result, you'll find that laptops on average will have more durability issues, but more so because of how they are used and less because of how they are built.
Interestingly, while a desktop computer would appear to be surdier, if you dropped one on the floor, it would likely fare worse than a laptop.

Just an opinion. I don't think so. Laptops were built to be transported and desktops weren't. Still, I'm having problems from humidity with my laptop, although I think I would be having similar ones with a desktop. Overall, my opinion is that laptops are more durable in terms of being able to move them and use them in different locales.

Sounds like you are trying to decide between laptop or desktop purchase. Desktops will last longer, but a computer is obsolete after 5 years anyway, so if you can afford a laptop and want the portability I would go with laptop. I like desktops because I can use a large monitor and I don't do much work on the go. Depends on your lifestyle.

Well of course desktops stay where they are set where as laptops go with you. Some laptops are more durable than others usually the high end laptops. The cheap ones are cheap.

Yes. Nearly one-fifth of all notebook PCs will break down over their lifetime, needing a new hardware component to overcome the failure.
Though the broken part may be as simple as a laptop latch, the most frequent component failures involve motherboards and hard drives.
Desktops suffer from the same weakness, but they break less often. App. 5 percent of desktop PCs purchased in 2005-2006 will break within the first year, and that 12 percent will break within four years. In contrast, 15 percent of laptops will break within a year, and 22 percent will break within four years.

yes
of course
first
desktops rarely fall to the ground or do they
laptops are exposed to that and to spills and
to be left forgotten
also laptops keyboards are really delicate
they cant handle hard work most of the times
and the screen is a lot more delicate
and the mouse tends to ruin with the use

I think so. Just for the fact that a desktop doesn't get moved around makes it less likely to become damaged in the 1st place.

Are you talking about the compact{ little} e machines or full sized e-machines? E machine desktops use the low end of parts but depending on what you're looking for they're ok Main difference is price and components
