Was it a good idea for Jordan to be manager of the bobcats?

Time will tell. He was a great player, but will he be a great, or even good, GM? When he was with the front office in Washington he wanted to draft Kwame Brown and did so. Well, that didn't work out. I think in most sports you will see the most successful managers and coaches are those who were not superstars, or even stars in some cases. Theory is that since they didn't play a lot, they were able to sit back and analyze the game more and also learn watching their coach or manager.

Their is an old principle, forgot the name of it (the Peter Principle maybe) that says everyone will rise to their level of incompetence. For MJ, I will wait and see.

YES WELCOME HOME MJ

No defintly not he should try to get back with chicago they are on the verge of a championship team. He could get a job in managment there. He should not be trying to get back into basketball with a garbage expanion franchise.

i guess its just more money for him!

Lots of people didn't like MJ being with the Wizards, ESPECIALLY when he came back to play for a few years. But only time will tell if he can fit in and really help out WITHOUT playing again.
