You are still apologising and explaining that you are not a racist etc etc This is not a racist issue.
The English flag like the Scottish and Welsh flags have not been embraced by immigrants like the Union flag. The reason for this si that immigranst did not come to live in England, N Ireland, Scotland or Wales, thyey came to live in Britain and to hold a British passport.
Therefore when looking at the nation flags of the home countries they feel excluded, they shouldn't be and anyone born in any of the home countries should be proud to hold their own national flag or the Union flag depending on the event ie support England, N Ireland, Scotland or Wales when they compete idividually or the Union flag when a British team is taking on another country.

I'm English, but live in Glasgow. Went home for a week just before the World Cup started and got so fed up with all the flags and jingoistic behaviour associated with them that I can only say one thing.....thank God for Scotland. Nice and quiet up here, just don't go supporting England in the open (they don't care how old you are http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=391763&in_page_id=1770 ), and learn to remember that, when you have turned off the telly because you can't stand to watch another penalty shoot out, cheers coming from the pubs mean England HAVEN'T scored.

The origins of the Union Jack are in all likelihood unknown to those who wave it at carrying activities or any experience for that count. The Jack area of Union Jack refers back to the daddy of the youngsters of Israel, Jacob, and the Union refers back to the union of his 12 sons who were the 12 tribes of the youngsters of Israel. The us of a of the united kingdom are British Israelites. initially the flag replaced into the red bypass (the English flag) which replaced into the Hebrew image. extra to it later replaced into the Scottish diagonal bypass and likewise extra replaced into the relationship with Patrick the Irish connection beforehand he grew to grow to be Saint Patrick. Wales does not have a right away reference interior the Union Jack as Wales replaced into already amalgamated with England. English rules and guidelines interior the previous even as the Union Jack replaced into first designed were both proper to Wales. the purely Saint of the domicile international places that easily set foot in interior sight soil replaced into Saint Patrick the consumer saint of eire. The Scottish consumer Saint replaced into Andrew, between the 12 disciples chosen by skill of Jesus. The English Saint, George customary for combating the dragon by no skill set foot on English soil. it really is perhaps the signing of the nationwide Anthem that motives maximum folk to connect England crew supporters flying their Union Jack rather of the English flag. even if interior the superb decade there seems more suitable English flags waved by skill of supporters than Union Jacks. the united kingdom contains britain, Scotland, Wales and northerly eire. GB contains britain Scotland and Wales. British communities frequently seem in carrying activities which includes the Olympics as large Britain it really is incorrect because it excludes Northern eire.
