Yes it does, it is the by product of the breaking down of the fibre in the digestive system to produce gas. That is why people with copious gas problems and even people who have a newly formed stoma (stoma bag needed) are told to avoid some foods that are very fibrous in nature to prevent them from becoming embarrassed from having their stoma bag blow up literally with gas.

C'mon. in case you gotta devour cardboard, the least that you could do is have some relaxing with it. Play pull my finger with the folk on the bus or on the workplace. Play Dutch Oven with the spouse once you calm down for mattress. There are a zillion procedures to have relaxing with this. Or, try to be a sq. and get some Beano.

Too much sugar and simple carbs will also do it, so the culprit may not JUST be due to fiber.
