I thought I'd add these too since I figured that a lot of you prob have these albums. I own a few & my sis owned Pieces of You, Matchbox Twenty (who I didn't know were really really good !!!) & Shania Twain. It says Forrest Gump, but there are *3* Forrest Gump soundtracks so I wonder if they accounted for all 3 or for a particular album... hmmm...

The Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, 28 million.
#2 Michael Jackson - Thriller - 27 times platinum
#3 Pink Floyd - The Wall - 23 times platinum
#4 Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV - 23 times platinum
#5 AC/DC - Back in Black - 21 times platinum
#6 Billy Joel - Greatest Hits, Vols. 1 & 2 - 21 times platinum
#7 Shania Twain - Come on Over - 20 times platinum
#8 Garth Brooks - Double Live - 20 times platinum
#9 The Beatles - The Beatles ("The White Album") - 19 times platinum
#10 Fleetwood Mac - Rumours - 19 times platinum
The Eagles surpassed Michael Jackson about two years ago, I think, maybe more.
Worldwide record sales cannot be accurately counted for some reason, but ABBA has claimed to have sold over 250 million records worldwide. This cannot be substantiated.
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon statyed on the Billboard record charts the longest, from it debut until 1988, I believe.
