Is he a barber or a cosmetologist? As long as he is not smearing peanut butter through your hair, it I think it's okay, but he probably wants to do something more, like give you highlights or a perm. Confront him right away!

Sounds like your boy there has a hair fetish. It sounds crazy but it's a fact of life. Why not let him shampoo it, condition it, blow dry it train him to fix your hair how you please.
