yes it is possible. you need a to browse around for a product called dvdtomp3 i think it's called it was a couple of years ago when i last had call to look this up for someone.

alternatively you can just attempt to use your computers built in audio recording program and set it to record the WAV format. before you go any further you would need to disable all alert sounds for all your currently running programs and disconnect from the internet.
once all is set do a test recording until you get the levels right. when your ready go for a live recording. just remember to start the recording process before you press play in media player or whatever program you are using to play your dvd on your PC.

sit back watch and listen. remeber do not adjust the levels during the recording process. once the recording is complete stop recording then stop playback.

it can be as simple as that. remeber though windows sound recorder only records in 60 second bursts in all versions prior to VISTA BETA 2.

It depends....do you by chance have a Soundblaster soundcard? If so, one of the utilities on their installation CD is called "Creative Recorder". That utility has within it a choice called "What U Hear". If you set it to that, and click on the Record choice as your music starts, and then on Stop once the music finishes, you will be able to save the music as a .wav file, which can then be converted to an .mp3 file with another program, of which there are many. Hope this helps.
