Why did he quit as Germany's Coach? It makes no sense!

Most coaches leave or are fired after the World Cup so this is not unusual. He's likely to be replaced with one of his assistants. On the other hand, he's a great candidate for the U.S. job. He can hold all the activities in southern California, where he lives, so he can be close to his family. Plus, he gave the Germans a fresh air on football, and I think he can do the same with the Americans. He was a great striker for the Germans in the early 90's, and what the U.S. team lacked the most was offense, so he's a logical choice to replace Arena.

I know.... But if you think about it, it does make sense. I kind of knew he would quit... the last 2 years must have been terrible for him.
But frankly, and it kills me to say this, that as a sincere fan of the German national team(I'm not German), I wouldn't mind seeing Germany with a different manager... Someone with killer tactics... Personally, I think Germany can use some. They have a weak defense, relatively strong midfield, and decent strikers. Klinsmann's offensive tactic works fine against weak teams, but I can't somehow say that it works against strong and cunning teams such as Italy and Argentina. If they want to win the Euro cup and the 2010 world cup, they will need new tactics. Portugal is a team that got very far thanks to that...I suggest Germany find someone else with all that money they have(From what I heard, Klinsmann got a huge amount of money) and find someone new, and if possible, better...

He is retiring so he can spend more time with his family. He has a very young son, about 15mts old. Plus he is 34, which in soccer is time to consider the retirement, I guess.
