What did God promise anybody ? No one, absolutely nobody has ever been given any kind of promise from God. There are a lot of claims of knowing the "will of God". Baloney.
Claims are a dime-a-dozen. Ask for proof, of yes some scratches in ancient stones.

Don't hold your breath waiting on them to manifest. And who says they were God's promises? Some man who said so? And how did he know and who was he trying to sell it to and what did he have in mind to get out of writing such a thing? Now there's a fair set of questions to ponder.
