At this job I make alot of money, I have been there 3 years. He is refusing to give me my vacation pay because I have already turned my 2 weeks in.

Yes a jerk.

Everyone else I work with is excited for my change in vocation and happy. Execpt for the boss. Perhaps this is a very good thing.

There is no law that you must give notice and stay 2 weeks. That is a courtesy. In return, you expect a good reference.

(Actually, it is very very irresponsible to not give notice.)

If your boss becomes a jerk then he will not be a good reference for you. Kick back and do only a minimal amount of work. What are they going to do, fire you? Hahahahaha

It isn't what happens to you, it's how you deal with it. You've already made a tremendous positive step by resigning your position. Obviously no amount of effort on your part will change your disrespectful boss. And no doubt, you are now in that exclusive club that knows he's an abusive, insecure, unpredictable and unreliable person. So chin up, ignore him completely (as if you would the two yr old having a tantrum), make copies of all your personnel records, clean out your work space and move on. Speaking up will only leave you angry, frustrated and cheated. He doesn't deserve that much attention from you. Good luck on your next adventure...

Report him/her to H.R. Just because you are leaving, as long as you are in their employ, they are liable for sexual harassment. They can get in BIG trouble if you bring charges. Trust me, I work for a law firm that does a lot of employment law. Talk to HR and if they don't respond, LAWYER UP! (and I am NOT one of those sue-happy people, I just believe that in some cases, it's necessary!)
