she has been divorced forever and her son (my friend) moved out 2 years ago

Yes you should. She is very alone since her divorced and you make her feel better by keeping her company. That's your friends mother and you friend would do the same thing too if your mother was lonely.

ummmm if ur 18 or older, then maybe. A better question is, Would u want ur friend to keep your mom "from being lonely"

I get lonely and I can handle it on my own.
I would get very upset and angry/defensive if my sons friends tried to keep me company.
Completely different worlds.
The thought may be admirable but leave the older women alone, they can handle it!

if she is lonely, the best company is Daddy Jesus. You cannot be there all the time, and provide her with the real needs in her heart Visualize what you hope for her and pray with faith to see how Jesus can move in her life (and yours) He is our true Daddy, our one true hero. Depending on the type of "company!" Think of your mom and how she would feel if you kept a friend of hers (age difference implied) company-company.
