Who would you cast in the lead roles?

Flowers in the Attic was a disaster. You're right. There were two Hobbit cartoons. They do need to do a live action version. The Lovely Bones is being made into a movie, with Peter Jackson directing. Hasn't been cast yet, though.

Animal Farm has already been made into a movie...twice. There was an animated version made in the '50's and a made for tv live action version a few years back.

Hummmmmmm....... there are several. The Westing Game (no idea who i'd cast), Once Upon A Marigold (maybe Geoffry Rush as the King, and that really rude woman from Ever After as the Queen dk about the others) At the Back of the North Wind (i'd cast a whole bunch of actors that no one has heard of yer and make them famous) Just Ella (same)

This is a very good question. I find myself thinking about good books that would make absolutely stunning films, I have always believed that V.C. Andrews' Flowers in the Attic would make a good film, though some air headed untalented director made the film, it was a total disaster. I think The Hobbit would also make a great film, The Hobbit is the prelude to the epic Lord of the Rings Trilogy. To cut my writing time down other books that would make good movies include, The Lovely Bones, The Vampire Lestat, and Christ The Lord.

Enders Game series, Orson Scott Card.

If he wasn't so old, I'd say Haley Joel Osment, though it might be good if they're going to be doing more than one because they can use size tricks with the film to make him look smaller in the first movie, and then use him in later movies as he currently is now. Maybe Jonah Bobo from Zathura.

I would also like to see 'The Westing Game' as a movie, no idea who to cast for that one tho.

Druss the Legend.

Its a story about a simple man, who's family line was cursed in a way.

His grandfather, originally a hero during a previous war, slowly became insane and bloodthirsty, being a infamous murderer and leader of bandits. He was killed infront of his child who was hiding in a tree, and his child hid and ran when discovered for many years. He had a child, and his wife died in an accident. He was persecuted for many years, and the child grew up into a strong, quiet sometimes angry young man.
And so the story begins, of Druss the Legend - The young man who's village was attacked by bandits, who took up the Magical ax Snaga - the sender, to persue his wife to the end of the world and rescue her so he could be with her again.

The lead role of druss would have to be filled by a powerfully built man, i cannot place who that would be.

The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah

I think Jada Pinkett Smith would be great as Winter.

There is a good series of books by Barbara Michaels ( although under a different pen name). It's the Amelia Peabody stories. I think they might make good movies, if done right.
Don't know who I'd put in the roles though.

I think South Beach and French Kiss, French Kiss is the sequal, by Amiee Friedman would be good movies. I think Kate Hudson for Alexa and Alexis Beldel for Holly would be good actors for the movies.
