My kids are still playing with a box they got at Christmas, the toy that came with it was broken by New Years Day.
Name one kid who has never played with a box.
It gets my vote for best toy ever.
I made a boat out of cardboard when I was a kid that actually floated, I am still driving a car I built out of cereal boxes, I gotta say the ride is sweet.

Legos....they teach kids the basic principals of engineering and mechanics and construction at an early age.... I had about 3.4 Million when I was a kid... didn't outgrow them until I was like 19 or something.

Well, to me it was a talking educational robot named "2XL". You put an 8-track cartridge in his belly, and he would ask questions. There were 4 buttons with the letters "A,B,C,D", I think, and you would press the one that corresponded with the correct answer. It was BIG TIME technologically advanced for 1981...lol
