Oh boy... Where to start... Well, it depends on what type of "grand daddy" long leg it is. It would help if I knew where you lived, but I'll try my best. Depending on where you are, this is the same common name for different spiders or arachnids. If it is a true spider (two body segments), it will eat what other spiders eat, which is insects (not blood, trash, or other stuff, *sigh). If it is what is most commonly refered to as a grand daddy long leg (one body segment, not a spider, and not the "most poisionous spider in the world," as they have no venom glands), they are a combination of hunters and scavangers. They will eat almost anything, from insects to plant matter. But it's really hard to say based on the little bit of info you gave. Hope that helps some.

Well spiders drink blood but when i went to camp they would swarm over garbage cans so they might be attracted to that also. Try leaving your garbage can open and maybe you can just trap them in there.

they rap the other bugs,ex. flies, up in webbing and it puts the venom inside by a tiny bite.. this like melts the inside of the bug and it sucks all of that out and eats it ....sorry didn't mean to be gross...
