My birthday is July 22nd. It's the last day for cancer and the day before leo. I've been told I'm a little bit of both. Do I read both horoscopes? Am I more one than the other?

No, you don't read for both horoscopes. Reading horoscopes in the newspaper or online is not accurate. It is pop astrology based on your Ascendant sign (rising sign - sign on your 1st house cusp), not your sun sign.
Being born on the cusp does mean that you are born at the end of one sign and the beginning of another. Your sun sign can only be in one sign or the other though, not both. You need to have your chart calculated to obtain your true birth sun sign.

Your sun sign and all the rest of your planets in signs are dependant upon 3 things:
your birth date
your birth place city
your exact birth time
Without those you won't be able to calculate your sun sign, unless you have an astrologer perform a rectification of your chart.

It means that you are born on the borderline between one sign and another. For example my friend is July 23rd. She is a cancer on a cusp of Leo

Cusp signs are not accepted some. However, they have been around for some time.
In Asian culture there are even more strange combinations of signs. Like the head of a rooster and the body of a monkey etc.

i am too mine is jan 19 last day of cappricorn and day before aquarious..i feel i am more aquarious than cappricorn though
