NYC - crowded

You really shouldn't drink the water in LA. In NYC the water may be brown, but it won't kill you.
LA has no public transportation to speak of, NYC has a fine subway system albeit a bit smelly.
In NYC you can get home via cab no matter how soused you are. You cannot hail a cab in LA, don't even try.
Alot of Italian people in NYC. Very few Italian people in LA.
LA has excellent sushi and Mexican food (the real thing) but no bagels pizza or Chinese food to speak of. NYC has excellent and plentiful bagels pizza and Chinese food but the Mexican food is terrible.
NYC has vacuous stage actors and famous people. LA has vacuous TV actors and famous people.
NYC has all 4 seasons, LA has one long summer plus a solid month of rain.

One is on the east coast one is on the west coast. One is old and mature and one is new and full of life.
