Gigi Buffon 4 sure!
hes the best EVER...he's the best goalie on the globe! not only that, hes one of the sexiest man on earth (specially before plugging his eyebrows off, & shaving his light beard).
also, there is my favorite Zambrotta. coz u can see him manipulating the game 4 his team, & achieving miracles both ways in defence or attacking & even in making goals.
we cant deny our beloved Totti, coz hes so great that u cannot say anything about his wall of fame
ah.. ALEX DelPiero??? what can we say about this shining shimmering star? he saved Italy's @ss just within few seconds after he gets into the arena... hes magnificent
Toni is not only cute face, but hes great in scoring, he gave only 120% of his 124% in this championship, He is STILL great.
Fabio? hes just FABULOUS! without him, it was a living hell for italians 2 get this CUP.
I really cant say whos the best of them, coz they are ALL contributed in glorifying their country & their football reputation.

Certainly a difficult choice... well, Gianluigi Buffon has contributed a lot to the Italians, by making the most saves for a goalkeeper in the entire FIFA World Cup 2006 tournament. The Italian defence is very strong, but many consider the goalkeeper the most important player, and Buffon has definitely played a significant role.

i love them all. They are the best and Italy will always be my favaurite team.You forget one, Gilardino, he's also a grat player. Francesco Totti is a very good midfielder and he's so handsome. Cannavaro is the best of all captain and i admire him. Gianluigi is the best and my favourite goalkeeper.
In all, i admire and love them all. There's also Simone Perrotta, Marco Materazzi, Daniele De Rossi, Vincenzo Laquinta and the others.

Fabio Cannavaro is for sure my favorite italian player. he is an amazing defender and saves Italy alot. Hes the captain as well. Very hot! and always looks happy.

Buffon, just because, in my opinion, he saved the Italians lots of times. Event though the Italian defense is excellent, Buffon did such a great job. I love him!
