There's so many fun things to see & do in Denver. Here's just a few links...

There's Larimer Square & the 16th Street Mall in Lodo (which means lower downtown).

The US Mint, the Museum of Nature & Science, & the aquarium if you want something educational.

You need to take the full ride - the downtown tram! Stop at the most obvious shops but then take a second ride and stop at the not so obvious shops. Of course, one of the most obvious is the Tattered Cover bookstore - so great just because of the ambience! There are really some super terrific little out of the way bars and restaurants. Do not hit up the typical chain restaurants, take a chance on the mom and pop type, you will be glad you did. There's a super sushi bar - looks like a hole in the wall - or at least it did 5 years ago. The Denver museum is worth it. If you're into night life and they happen to be in town, you must see Devotchka! they're on tour, not sure where they're at but they are the one of the best!

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a must for music buffs....for shoppers, go to FlatIrons or Cherry Creek Mall. For Hikers, drive an hour and a half west to Summit County, and enjoy the scenery there. If you like to people watch while running/biking/skating, I suggest Wash Park. For Denver based food chains(even though they are beyond Denver's borders, try Chipotle, Quiznos, Einstein's, Peaberry Coffee, Red Robin, to name a few. If you'll be in Denver this summer, walk by the old B-52's bar on 20th & Market....the Real World is being filmed there.

The cheese cake factory, the spaghetti factory, and the tattered cover. Outside of Denver, Estes Park is always a fun day out, and I always enjoy some hiking or hot springs trips.

Get somebody to take you up to Buffalo Bills' gravesite.
It provides a great view all around as well as looking down onto the town of Golden... home of Coors beer.
