You get robbed by some dude with a gun who shoots you in the stomach. You go to the hospital to get treated where you find you have cancer and it would have become incurable if you waited 2 more weeks. Are you mad at the guy who shot you or grateful?

I would be both, but I'd be more mad at the guy since he got you into this situation!

wow...that is a weird situation. I think I'd be grateful when I first find out about the cancer.....As the pain pills wear off and I have to eat the horrible hospital food I'd go back to being really mad. After I testify against him I might send a thank-you card to his prison cell....

I think I would be too scared and upset dealing with my cancer and stuff to be mad at anyone. I also would think that everything happens for a reason and probably not be mad at him. I wouldn't be 'grateful' to HIM for shooting me I would be 'grateful' to God for my cancer being found.

id be angry at the fact I got shot. It would hurt, and i avoid pain if possible. As for the being mad at him yes I would be. Shooting someone isnt the way to go, so I would be mad that he chose that option. But I would be gratful that they found the cancer before it became uncurable.

If you're asking which you SHOULD be then it's grateful because if you live through the gunshots then he saved your life. If your asking what you WOULD PROBABLY do then it's stay mad at the guy because he shot you and stole your money and personal belongings.

I am mad. Because he didn't know I had cancer and he shot and robbed me. Of course I am mad.

If you are healed then that is your destiny. You should be mad at the person who shot you but thank God for using him as a path to your destiny. Its called positive thinking.

wow... initially i would be pissed that is until I found out about the cancer, then I would be remorse and thankful. sometimes being one place at one certain time can be good and bad all at once... interesting question to say the least.... any truth behind the question you asked?

Interesting. After the fear and anger subside, I think that fate or whatever you want to call this mean't for this to happen, therefore, I should be thankful and count myself lucky.

Good question!!

I would be angry because he committed a crime, hurt me and could have killed me. He would not care about my hypothetical cancer and would continue robbing people.
