could it be lustrium?

Lustrium-- a non-precious metal alloy that is silver in color. It is a hard metal and fairly durable, but does not have the same value and characteristics as gold and platinum.

I hate when people answer who don't know the answer... THE CORRECT ANSWER is "LTM" means Lustrium. They made cheaper rings out of Lustrium instead of Gold, it is cheap & looks like stainless steel. but these rings do retain some value and have been known to sell between $20-$50 on ebay currently, the older the year the more they seem to fetch in value.

Perhaps it is a person's initials or the type of metal they used to make the ring. Ask Jostens.

it may desire to have some gold in it, or be gold plated. in case you like a gold type ring then flow to an area jeweler's shop and order it Any of those made up metals the previous poster indexed is basically no longer worht something as quickly as you purchase the ring.

LOL! It is the person's initials, and if your name really is bill then I don' think that is yours... . Trust me, I just ordered one from Jostens. The only two things you can get on the inside are your full name or your initials.
