Democrats want to rule your wallet, tell you what to do with your money (give it to the feds and they will dole it out as they see fit through social programs) And Republicans want to legistate morality and taking away of liberties( gay marriage, religion, abortion, defining who is american and who isn't and who gets rights and who doesn't).
Which do you prefer and how will you vote next election.

who will pay for the healthcare. It will be more expensive as it will have to raise $10 to run the bureaucracy to dole out every $1 in medical bills. So you will, they'll just take it out of your paycheck and you'll have the honor of having crappy healthcare (have you ever been to a free clininc?)

Actually, both parties want to dip into your wallet, and both want to restrict your rights. Many Republicans favor subsidies or protection for certain industries, which means money out of your pocket. Many Democrats favor telling you what you can do with your property (conservation, anti-smoking laws), what weapons you may own, and what kind of contracts you can make with other consenting adults (labor and wage laws). You're not safe from either side.
I'll probably vote for a President of the opposite party of the Congressional majority, hoping that the two will fight each other instead of colluding against my rights.

I won't speak for the Democrats, but exactly what right or rights have you personally given up because of Republicans? They haven't taken away Gay Marriage, it didn't exist, if they legislated morality, half or more of the nation would be locked up, have they taken away your religion or forced you to accept a religion? When did they define who is American and who isn't, funny thing is that the only people that say that are liberals. I will vote Republican, the Democratic Party offers no ideas, or solutions, and I can listen to children whine any day without having to elect them. Thanks

I'm not big on taking away freedoms... however I do feel that the health care system is next to useless.. so democrats..
Edit: I can't afford to go to the doctor now... my co-pay is so high and I'm paying CRAZY high amounts and I've NEVER EVEN BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL... if you think the current system is efficient at the rate of $1 private to $10 public you're smoking some good stuff... the government may be horribly inefficient, but the current companies charge tens of thousands for simple procedures? Due to insurance, there is no market to set the prices...

I'd vote moderate. Or the lesser of two evils. So if it comes between a Socialist and a Fascist (super Right or Left), I'd choose Socialist due to the fact that freedom mean more to me than money. This country was founded not on gold, but on principle. And while I like neither, to say the least, I'm more often at odds with the Right side of the balance.

I don't support either. And i must say I am saddened to see more and more (although I always knew it existed) that Americans somehow FAIL to realize that there ARE other political parties.
Remember, political parties are NOT government entities but private parties.
Support another party. Hell, start one of your own.

Well, let's see... do I want to vote for the party that nominally fights for your personal freedoms, or do I wish to vote for the party that fights for your right to financial freedom?
Yep... that is a tough one.
