No. Simply because while surgeons have the capacity to alter the outward structures of the body, on a molecular level, the person retains the genetic information they were born with. Hormonally, transgendered people will require medication the rest of their lives to retain the characteristics of the gender they have chosen. The final difference is that a transgendered female cannot support a pregnancy and a transgendered male cannot impregnate or obtain or maintain an erection without a prosthetic device. Once science and medicine are able to solve these puzzles, perhaps a complete gender transformation will be possible.
