Why do you think celebrities think skinny is attractive and pretty?

Being really skinny is so not attractive like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richy, Don't no which olsen twin but one maybe even both, Kiera Knightly and there's more like Lindsey Lohan and and Hilary Duff and some others but since it's unattractive i don't know them all but these girls are so ugly and skinny I would only be a couple with one of them to get there money. Ok the questions. Why do you think they want to be skinny because it's not hot. This questions a little diffrent but why do the girls die there hair? Like Lindsey Lohan has black hair and uglier, Hilary Duff black hair and uglier, and that might be it but why do they do that it makes them look ugly?

I have no idea and I wish we could return to the Renaissance ideals of beauty where women looked more natural and full-figured. SIGH.

The skinniness is not just an attractive and pretty thing. I have a friend in acting and she told me that when a movie or TV show is being thought out they have an idea for what size they want the person to be, so they make the costume that size. That means the actress playing the role has to be either that size or smaller because they can easily make the costume smaller not bigger. So the skinniness is partially so they can keep their job.

Well being so skinny is sooooo not attractive and pretty.Lindsey Lohan,and Hilary Duff dyed their hair because they want to look different.If people want to be skinny they should go accordingly about their weight more carefully because being too skinny to the point where you can see their bones is really not healthy if you really think about it.

Celebrities usually reinvent or reintroduce themselves to keep interest in their careers. Madonna has done this for the last 20 years and still sells albums while many others, who did not change and adapt, have come and gone.

One example, that doesn't work for me...Jessica Simpson! She took blonde, innocent and sexy to cheap black wig, slutty (but not the attractive kind of slutty) to the cover of Maxim.

Ashley Simpson looked great with the Black Hair didn't she?

I don't seriously think celebrities think looking malnourished is attractive but they feel pressured to look half starved by the demands of men. Skinniness equates to beauty in the U.S.and actresses, as are normal women, feel pressured to be very thin in order to be attractive. Actresses have the added pressure of remaining "marketable" and that requires being thin.

they have rights too!! thats just my opinion but if they weigh anymore than 120 they go onto the cover of every mag in the world sayin "has so and so gained weight?" so if they arent thin they are dispized by the whole world how would you feel if everybody hated you?
