and our two children live there and I dont want them picking up this bad habit she has, I didn't even notice it until i was re-married and my new wife brought it to my attention that I was doing it, so after I while I was able to stop and now I really notice it in my X wife, I just dont want her to get all defensive like she usually does when I mention anything touchy like this. How should I approach it?

Unless its becoming an issue with ur children theres not really much u can do as far as forcing her to stop the best advice i can give u is to talk to your children every chance u can about how inappropriate it is for someone to cuss, how trashy it looks, how people with class can manage to say sentences with out using such vulger words.. DONT bash their mom in the examples.. use other means of explaining with out putting their mom in the line of fire, but to the point that they themselves will realize that she cusses badly.. and by you setting the example for them hopefully they will steer towards you, but all u'll get from the x is an additude and a "how dare you" mentality.. so concentrate on what you can control.. your children.. and talk to them as often as you can about these types of things to make them see between right and wrong... Good Luck..

try talking to the children and tell then this isn't nice and you would like then to stop. lady's don't do that.nor boys. they shouldn't copy what their mother does. just talk to your ex. if she gets defensive that's her problem. she need to know that your are just looking out for your children. and you love then and don't think it a good idea that the children are using bad words. it was right that your new wife brought it to your attention. thumbs up!! i don't know how well you get along with her. but tell you ex. you will do to her what you would do the the kids. wash her mouth out with soap and give her a butt spanking. tell ex she should think before she speaks. or call dr. phill
good luck. thumbs up to your new wife again!!!!

i'd be swearing too if I observed how some human beings run their eating position (financially and healthwise) like that! And if human beings are saying that each and every one this swearing is negative and their babies should not be listening to it, and placed it on at a later time... WHAT THE F*CK ARE your babies DOING unsleeping AFTER 8:30PM in the experience that they are TOO youthful to take heed to the way actual human beings OUT in the authentic international talk?!?! you in simple terms ought to take heed to some mum and dad and how they talk to their 2year previous's to ascertain my aspect. this is extra disgusting than Ramsay's swearing!

have you tried having an honest, non-accusing, conversation with her regarding your concerns?
You have no control & cannot be responsible for other's behavior so if she chooses not to stop, you have to respect that.
You can also speak to your children and let them know that type of language is unacceptable for them to use regardless of who else they hear using it. Becuz they will hear it If not from mom, then one of their potty mouthed friends @ school.
Neither my husband nor I swear, but the kids have come home on occasion asking the meaning of /trying to use words they shouldn't.

First of all it was snarky of your current wife to point it out. Second of all, all you can do is try to be a good example. You can help your kids know about cussing, otherwise leave your ex alone.

Leave it alone...your kids will survive just fine...if this is the worst thing you have in your life, you are doing very well.

Sounds like she picked it up from you. It is not your place to tell her what to do in her home. Would you like it if she was telling you, what you should be doing in your home?
