Go shopping in the shops that are off the main street in old town that I refer to as the alley shops. It's such an old European looking area, it's great. They even have renaissance clothing shops. The food is good at the outdoor cafes too.

there have been good solutions to this question already yet i'd pick to furnish my opinion too :) i'm community from Quebec city yet stay in Montreal considering 5 months now. So i understand what both places ought to furnish. let's start up with Quebec city. Then i am going to proceed with Montreal... Quebec... Quebec is an truly astounding touristic city. in case you bypass downtown, you'll have a astounding time learning the structure, the welcoming shops in rue St-Jean, the Château Frontenac (fort, it truly is a motel... very astounding rooms by technique of how ! I went there for my promenade :)) and the eating places, that are as beautiful as some thing of the city. you've the Plaines d'Abraham (the fields the position the French and English fought virtually three hundred years in the past for Quebec - the English received, by technique of how, eheh) the position you should take a astounding walk and watch the St-Lawrence river... All of this may take an afternoon. Quebec city is in reality very small. in case you pick to visit better stuff, you've astounding and massive buying centers (higher than those i have considered in Montreal) like position Laurier and Galeries de l. a. Capitale. yet after that... you'll sit down on your settee and purely watch the clock, because believe me, there is no longer some thing else to do in Quebec city ! i have lived there for 17 years so i understand what i'm speaking about... "the position do i bypass ? Downtown or to the buying center ? Hmmm...." no longer such distinctive alternatives. Montreal : This city is plenty better energetic. in reality, you virtually have 2 thousands and thousands habitants living on the Island. For all that individuals, there are better points of interest. The nightlife is larger and look at better alternatives than in Quebec city. you've the streets St-Denis or Ste-Catherine for buying and thousands of eating places... on both one in each and every of them. In Montreal, each and everything is accessible. so so that you could do some thing distinct primary... it truly is very astounding :) end : in case you need an truly relax holiday, bypass to Quebec. in case you want a city that strikes, pick Montreal. What i'd suggestion you, from my personnal element of view, may be 3 days in Montreal and a million day in Quebec. an afternoon is sufficient to ascertain Quebec, yet no longer adequate for the city ;) besides.... I desire you to have interesting in this holiday and that i'm hoping you'll like our expensive province :)

If you could go see a live performance of Le match des Etoiles i would recommend that. Le match is an exciting singing and dancing performance. It's on the television and it is great and popular there in Montreal. Just walking around the city is interesting I would say!
