Certainly not everyone cares about everyone else. But, I am convinced that as long as one person cares about you (and someone always does) then you are doing all right. I have a lot of problems, but I have a lot of good stuff in my life to. It's a balancing act. Another question you should ask is what have you done to solve someone else's problem?

You're entirelly wrong. Many people care about others, but still have problems of their own.
From the above, you're suggesting that if someone spent a great deal of his time helping others, he would have no health problems, no family problems, no financial problems. How could that be ?

My problem is that I care about everyone else's lives and not my own. I have low self-esteem from being abused sexually and verbally in childhood. I feel better about myself when I help others, so I work in healthcare and spend my free time answering peoples' questions.

Yes, everyone has problems of their own, and those take priority over the problems of others. But I see what you are saying,. there are times where we could easily help others with little effort and consequence but we don't. Some people just enjoy watching others suffer or are of the mindset that if we are dealing with our problems on our own, so can they.

Good question... My problem is liars, why is it that everyone believes liars???? And the people telling the truth turns out looking like the idiot? And gossiping women in thier little groups talking about (EVERYBODY) else's lives and problems! Yet when you confront these people they deny knowing what you're talking about????
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Realize that all are concerned about themselves, since the beginning of history. People are too busy with their own problems to concern themselves with others. Quite normal.
