Any other Sufjan Stevens fans out there?

I really like his music, does anyone know what the next album will be, or can anyone tell me if 'The Avalanche' is worth buying?

Yes, the Avalanch is worth buying, but only if you already have Illinois. It is a great stand in while waiting for the next "real" album. It reaaly does have couple of great tracks, but in my opinion it could have been shorteror released free as originally planned.

Who knows what the next album will be. I am pulling for Arkansas.
