Rights? None. First of all, you aren't immediate family. Secondly, it may depend on if it was a sealed adoption, meaning only the adopted person, when they grow up, will be able to initiate finding their biological family. That usually doesn't happen until they are young adults. Since you're asking about rights...I have to assume you are not free to pursue contacting him on your own.
