I sit on my lawn chair and spread my legs so wide that I can feel wind all the way up through my body. Last time I did this, I got arrested. The cop said it wasn't because I was naked, it was because I was so damn fat and ugly. Should I sue the police department for mistreating me? They could have just arrested me, and not insulted me.

You can only be arrested for nudity if someone complains to the police that you are offending them. Nudity itself is far from illegal!
By the way... what the officer said to you was a form af Police Brutality - or Assault. The police are NOT above the law. What the officer said to you was an assault against you.
"Damn fat and ugly"....If a stranger walked up and said that to you, it would be considered a personal attack on you and you could report it.

I bet that your charge was for being naked out in public. The cop insulted you out of cruel intentions. You can try to complain to the police department, but it won't do much good, unless a lot of people complain. Unless you look like my neighbor, I support your want to be naked outside.
