I would recommend Alienware or Cyber Power Inc. I've owned two computer each one those places and I have never had a problem. Not only do they give you really good gaming computers but they have great deals. They also let you customize your computer with the parts that you want.
Pros (Alienware):
Fast
Reliable
Great for gaming
Cons: If you want a really good computer it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg. And it is a little hard to get ahold of their customer service.
Pros (Cyber Power):
Fast
Reliable
Inexpensive
Great Customer Service
Cons: Depending on where you are it might take a while for the computer to get there.

I have a Dell laptop, since December 05, so far so good.
Before that I had a custom build desktop, which I had for 5 years and is still going strong.
If you're looking for desktop, I would recommend asking someone who's a computer expert in hardware and software, if they could build one for you. It's cheaper and you can personally customize the components you need.
Also you can visit your local computer shop (not the big box stores) and you can provide your own list of components and they will take a look at the list and provide you with a price of approx how much it will cost you to build the desktop

All computers are pretty much the same, depends on if you want quality(high end) and what type your looking for. Some of the brands have cheap, filmsy cases in laptops others are just cheap pieces of crap because they are cheap!

Dell is best. You know what you are getting. If it doesn't work, their support is awesome. I have owned 2 in the last 10 years and have never had problems with them. They are expensive but worth it. Unless you REALLY know your way around hardware, Dell is a great buy.

The best is a custom made with quality parts, but quality doesnt come cheap. But the extra you spend upfront will be saved in frustration later. Pay me now you pay me later, cheap is not good and good is not cheap

build your own...or get someone to build it for you computers built by large company's are generally much more expensive than you would pay just to have one built we built a dual core top of the line gaming machine HP would have charged us 3000 we spend 1200......so cut our cost by more than half building it ourselves...if you aren't big on knowing what is in your computer...you don't know what you need...i will be more than happy to help you.....not sure how you can get ahold of me....Aliciacctx@yahoo.com is my e-mail....just tell me what you want and i can tell you where to go to find the best parts you will just have to find someone locally in your area to put it together for you

Let's be serious here. It all depends on what you are looking for. But, when it comes to quality, you should buy Mac or Lenovo. That's it. There is no other good answers.
