yeah it does, but of course, they hubby also wants to feel atracted to you. By the way, by you asking your hubby if he thought you were fat....BIG MISTAKE. Thats shows that you not sure about your looks and it' s a big turn off for a guy, guys hate it when girls ask such stupid question. Dont ask him, if you feel your gaining weight, do something about it, but dont put himon the spot like that.

It'll be interesting to see the difference in answers between men and women regarding this question... As a "fat" woman (as you say) that is also attractive, successful, and independent, I can tell you that I actually get a lot more male attention now than when I was thin. I don't get as many attempts to lure me into the sack but when you stop and think about it that's probably a good thing since the men that do want to take me to bed really like me for ME and not just sex. As for your boyfriend, if he really loves you he'll accept you no matter what you look like. I know that sounds cliche but it's the honest truth. You are still the same person he fell in love with so unless his love was really "lust" it shouldn't matter... and if it does, there are plenty of good men out there that would be glad to treat you with the respect and give you all the love you deserve!

Not all men are hung up on the weight of their women. Whats inside is what matters most and there are guys out there that realize that. If you are in a relationship and your weight matters that much to him then you mine as well leave now because if you stay with him and end up getting married - you can bet that at one point in your life you are going to gain weight. Your mate should be able to love you no matter what.

It is the inside that matters most. If your boyfriends has an issue with your weight, he's not the one (unless of course, you are morbidly obese and he is concerned about your health). Are you reading too much into this? Have you fought about it before and was he keeping quiet because of a previous problem. I only ask because I know that I've been cranky and felt fat and asked my husband if I looked fat and he said no and I am SURE I called him a liar, all PMS style. Have you ever gone mental like that on him? Anyway, you have to feel great about yourself and if you are with someone who makes you feel bad, get out. Good luck. I'm sure you are gorgeous!

Depends on the guy, me personally, it all depends on the type of body anyone has, not just females, if you want to gain a little more weight go ahead, it's just the gaining/loss of a ton of weight at once that's not particularily healthy, and you're it SHOULD be the inside that matters most.

Most guys like hot skinny girls....just the way it is(and it has very little to do about the media). And lots of guys will dump a woman in a second if she plumps up too much. A big part of a relationship is physical attractiveness....and a blob is just not sexy.
If your in a relationship, you should want to look good...both because it makes your other happy, but it's also healthy.

F*ck yes! Two years ago I was good looking but it still wasn't good enough. So I spent like a year or two getting myself looking completely perfect. Like not obsessive but gradually. Now I get soooo much more attention from guys. Of course it's awesome but it kind of bugs me. I'm the exact same girl I was a year ago but everyone treats me different just because I look "perfect"! What the h*ll is the difference? Of course I'm not going to say that I havn't judged people by the way they look but the difference is just ridiculous!

Most men think that women are supposed to be that way. It's primal instict or something like that. It's what they were programmed to believe. The sooner you realize this the better, they are all mostly like this. Until one day, you find the one that doesn't care. So don't worry about some dumb guy who thinks you should be skinny because ...well who gives a crap what he thinks.

My God... I can't believe how stupid was your boyfriend... I'm sorry but that's the truth... I mean OK I'm quite skinny, yet not a supermodel as most women, but my man loves my body and even if i put some weight he wouldn't give it much thought...

The inside Is important, but so's the outside. I mean are you really gonna wanna make it with Jabba the Hutt?
