I think they fall in love with the idea of being on love. However in my opinion.. without actually seeing, holding, kissing and sharing some time with the other person, I could not fall in love over the internet. Its not personal enough to have such strong feelings called love.

people have fallen in love but meeting over the internet is just the beginning and when they get to know each other better and eventually meet then they fall in love i dont think you really know someone unless you are with them in person because on the internet you dont know that person and you can be what you want to be over the internet too so to me its just a beginning

No! Often times what they think is love is actually infatuation. The feeling is euphoric ( nice feeling like prozac ... lol). Love comes later on in life, when you realize all his/her character flaws and accept him/her for who they are. We all have character flaws.
