Absolutely. Iran has been the main source of islamic evil in the world ever since Jimmy Carter refused to prevent them from taking over (note that recent behavior by Carter makes it HIGHLY likely he did this on purpose). Now, they are threatening the world with nuclear holocaust. This is an excellent opportunity to destroy the muslim menace once and for all, in the world.

My feeling with regard to the liberals who oppose this is that the only reason they oppose it is that it would eliminate a prime enemy of the United States and a promoter of genocide in the world. Those are evil motives. At least, we should ignore the liberals and do what is needed. At most....well, maybe it's time to start thinking about rounding up the liberals and jailing them for treason.

70 percent of the troops that we have in Iraq are nowhere near enough manpower to properly run major military operations in a country like Iran, and properly secure and occupy that country, also since we have not done a sufficient job of securing Iraq, if we pull troops from there we will degrade the securitiy situation there and allow for Al- Quaeda to conduct military operations across more open borders, which in effect will widen the battlefield at the same time multiplying enemies by a factor of 5.Iran is immensely more capable of defending itself against a military operation than Iraq was. The best course of action for our government would be to somehow infilitrate the Iranian government with operatives and somehow sabotage it as much as possible from the inside and couple that with some sort of special ops support to slowly kill off undesirable heads of government and nudge the Iranian government towards a more beneficial existence for the US without any hints as to our government being behind such actions, the viability of such a policy is not realistic with the current situation however. Unfortunately in an age of terrorism, certain groups of people in the current government decided to go after the least threatening regimes in the region and I guess save the real threats for later on down the road, I guess that makes sense to some people somehow.

The US has depleted much of it's expendable arsenal. If the US were to try and invade Iran, they would have a much more difficult time than they did in Iraq. The US would lose that conflict faster and more assuredly than they have in Iraq.
