The Federal government first needs to return the power to the states. Just as the Constitution intended.
From there, each state needs to return the power to each individual community.
From there it is up to each and every community to have whatever government structure they wish. Allowing for competition between communities for the better government.

We gave them the power, we can take it away by voting those two parties (Democrats AND Republicans) out of DC.
Who gets more of our tax dollars corporations or government bureaucracy? The rich or the poor? Corps and wealthy only try to retain the wealth they have EARNED by seeking tax cuts. What would you do if I told you the harder you work the more money you'd be taxed? Kinda unfair isn't it.
Answer: A flat tax...everyone pays the same % across the board.
As soon as you wake up and figure out corporations are not to blame and the POLITIANS are, we can move on.

While voting is important I think it comes down to the fact that people feel like theyre "too busy" to inform themselves. If every citizen took 20 minutes a day to read the newspaper or watch the news regardless of how biased some media sources are it would make for more intelligent voting practice.

We have the power, it's just people are too lazy to use it. most of us are under the impression that we don't have any power. I'm sure if the people would speak up, things would be better and illegals would get their asses tossed out of this country.

If we have indeed lost the power, it is our own fault and it's our responsibility to get it back. Nobody's going to hand it to us on a silver platter.
