And if that is correct, why would anyone be serving time for murder?

So, when someone tells you they're pregnant, they are not pregnant with a baby, but a tumor; is that what you're saying? Women get pregnant with tumors and not babies?

Abortion is premeditated murder. The parent who arranges for the doctor to kill her child is no different than a husband arranging to have his wife murdered. When you purposely stop a heart from beating and end a brain from functioning, you are killing a life.

you should realize not everyone in the world is against abortions its our right to deceide if we want to have a baby and if we dont. Yes we shouldnt have sex if we arent planned for the consequences but unfortunetly thats not how all of society thinks so charging someone for murder for an abortion would go against what this country is all about "FREEDOM" freedom of choice freedom of speech i respect the fact you dont agree with abortion but you should also respect the fact that other people think its ok when in need. if you had a 13 yr old child and she got pregnant would u take her to have an abortion or would you make her have the baby and keep it? possibly give it up for adoption? you must think sometimes having this procedure done befor the baby is developed makes it easier for people then knowing that somewhere out there you have a child. We hope that people learn from their mistakes i think abortions should be limited obviously if u've had 7 or 8 abortions your not learning anything

well, if abortion is right, then it is predicated on the status of the fetus as something other than a person. Only a person can be murdered -- if the fetus is just a clump of cells, removing it is like removing a tumor (according to that thinking -- I'm not taking sides here).

All the people who are against abortion aren't willing to adopt all the babies they are saving, so they are often raised by people who should not raise children, they become criminals [some, and not all criminals were unwanted children!!] only to be executed after taking someone Else's life. This executing seems to be condoned by the same people who are against abortion !!! I say make up your minds people !!!!!............to kill or not to kill that is the question ?!?!!?? Can you really have it both ways??? I believe that each individual has to face these questions for themselves, can you live with aborting your child? can you live with taking anothers life? can you support state executions? Each of us have to make our own distinctions & suffer the concequences!!!

NOBODY advocates that abortion is "right". It is justifiable.

Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy. A person, post-birth is afforded a different legal status.

What you are trying to do is not logic.

Yes. And if ending your child's life is okay, why not extend it? Why not make abortion legal until age 18?

No, because in an abortion, no life is taken. God protects the life of the fetus and uses it again in another pregnancy.

You already answered your on question. Murder is not retroactive abortion.

Murder is defined by society, not by morality or religion. They are distinct and different as long as society treats them differently under the laws laid down by society.

I don't know if it is or not, but I know my mamma used to tell me she was going to retroactively abort
