I work a six-day week - four days on, and two days off - so my "weekends" rarely correspond with those of anybody else. Oddly enough, my next "weekend" actually falls on the weekend, so for the first time this summer i'll have a Saturday and a Sunday off.
And.....(remember, this is Mr. Excitement speaking).....i will be spending it at home. I dummied up my foot yesterday, so i can't walk any great distance.....and i am "between automobiles", so i can't drive.....so it looks like i'll be online for most of it.
Please don't cry for me, it's the life i choose to lead, and a sacrifice i make willingly. Someone has to think of the children, don't you agree?

The beach! Warm sand, water, and just plain relaxing. In the winter it is cooler (I'm talking North Carolina beaches) but just as relaxing. If there is a pier house you can even stay in there during a thunder storm and watch the ocean get really angry! Ever go to a beach after it has snowed? Awesome. Snow covering the sand makes it pure white...........and it sparkles.......make sure you bring your camera in the summer or the winter. And be sure to stand under the pier inbetween the supports, face the ocean and take a picture.....you get a really interesting picture. The supports get smaller and smaller. Have some fun with it. Stand a friend, or a pet inbetween the supports, sitting, standing, or goofing around. Stand up, sit down, and then lay down and get different views of the same area. It is really fun to see how they come out.
