Why do you feel the need to reconcile anything? Don't confuse your desire to keep the things you have worked for with greed. There's a big difference.
Take a good look at the motivations behind your desire - or your feelings of guilt for that matter. If you find that your desires are driven more by selfishness or greed then perhaps you should reconsider some of the choices you've made.
But , by all means, do not allow yourself to give in to some overblown sense of guilt unless you have a damn good reason for it. The world is full of people just waiting to exploit those feelings.
If you are truly sincere in your desire to have an answer to this question then trust your heart - it's a good one.
If your motivations for this question were less than noble then guess how many finger I'm holding up...

Since you worked for it, it is rightfully yours.
You should only give it away if you receive in return something that's worth more to you. Since others might value things differently from you, they can benefit from such exchange as well, making it mutually beneficial and perfectly moral.
Of course, not everything is money or material goods.
If you feel like donating money to some cause, you receive the knowledge of something good happening, and you being part of it. If you accept donation, you give away your pride.
If you spend time with people, you are rewarded with their friendship.
