Bring him a snack in bed and tell him that you're sorry, but you thought he would understand that you were going to be out.

With an honest and truthful apology.
Tell him you are sorry for what happened. Acknowledge that you know he is offended. He may be angry, hurt... but rightfully so. Let him talk if he wants to and listen. He may need to vent some of that anger. Let him go and listen.
When it seems that he's ready to listen, you may want to briefly explain why this happened- perhaps you had a bad day and was mad at the world, when all of a sudden he innocently walked into the room and into your line of fire. Do not attempt to make an excuse, or justify what you did or said, if it's not true. Be honest and speak from your heart.
Only then should you do something special for him. It will mean so much more after you both express your feelings.

No, you did nothing wrong and should not apologise to him. From your descriptions, sound that your hubby is a petty person. You just took your children for some celebrations and you had already invited him to join together, but just that he decided not to. So what wrong have you done?
Sorry to say that, your husband should be grown maturely and as wife should have some principals so that husband will learn how to show respect in you.

Good question; the answer to this question depends on your husbands personality. If he is the sarcastic type, you may want to wait until things cool down. otherwise, you will end up offended as well. If he is quiet and reserved, you may approach him with softness. Be forwarned: quiet people can erupt two or three weeks later and remind you of what you did. Good luck on apologizing...trial and error approach...the positive is you will have a chance again to try a new approach if this one goes awry...we all say things we shouldn't... don't feel too bad:)

Look him in the eye and apologize. Explain to him that you are sorry for what you did or said and let him know it hurts you to hurt him and that you did not mean to hurt him and remind him of how much you love him, then give him a long lasting hug ending with a kiss. Then you can do something you might not normally do, like go for a walk or just sit outside at night and relax.

just simply sit him down and tell him that you are sorry, tell him what you are sorry for and why you are sorry , and that you dont plan on doing that again in the future, and if you can please forgive me. if he loves you he will, if not then that is his loss, cause what is most important is that you realize what you did was wrong, and if he is not happy with that , then i would say that he is just being stubborn, at that point give him some space and them come back at him later and tell him, ya know i know what i did was wrong but i apologized for it and i meant it, so how long do you think it is necessary to leave this hanging over my head? tell him that it is time for it to end, it has gone on long enough. good luck.

Girl, it depends. What did you do? did you cheat on him? If not. just apologize and move on. It he wants to continue to be mad, let him he'll get over it. With man the more you apologize the worst it gets, because somehow they translate that into emotional power and once you get him used to that. He'll expect it for the rest of your life. Teach him, that in this relationship when one makes mistakes,(Because you are not perfect) one forgives and grows from it.

You just simply do. Sit him down and tell him that you realize you messed up and you are sorry. Maybe you should make him a nice meal or something ahead of time too.
Good luck!

depends on the situation, a hearfelt apology should do it, if it was really bad maybe a special dinner or some 'extra' fun in bed, but if you've done that and he still wants to pout just leave him alone to get over it.
