GREAT QUESTION!

(Off the top of my head...) People feel unimportant. Stars, being famous, seem important. It's as though some of the glory of them would rub off on the "lowly" fans. If you can get attention from the star, that makes you important.

It seems a form of insanity, doesn't it? It's as though something takes over people. Even those who don't see themselves that way, go kinda nutty. Adrenaline kicks in and maketh fools of us all.

There's probably good thinking on this topic. You could do some web research in the field of psychology that would illuminate this better.

I don't know, but they shouldn't. At a soap opera awards show a friend of mine asked this guy to take our picture. He about fainted, he said take you guys picture? Girls started mobbing him. I guess he was one of the main characters on Guiding Light. We don't watch it, we didn't know him. We apologized. He said that's just fine. I like being treated like normal.

We later went to the Hard Rock Cafe where the cast of General Hospital was having a party and was roped off. We love GH and were seated right next to them. So many people came up wanting autographs and pictures, the security finally ran everyone off. We said hi, and left them alone. The next thing we knew, we were chatting with Jax and his parents from Australia because his mother dropped her mascara behind my friend. We ended up being kind of a part of their party because we weren't going crazy over them. We treated them like normal people, which they really are. We don't have pictures and autographs, but we have great memories.

I do have pictures with Garth Brooks hugging me and sitting on Billy Dean's (a country singer)
lap. They want to be treated normal and when they are, they are much more receptive. Most don't want to be idolized, some do.

I honestly don't know. I have to admit that there are a few starts that I "act crazy about", such as Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, and Alyssa Milano. Alyssa Milano is my role model, I admire her talent, and want to be just like her. Orlando and Johnny because they are just so hot!
