I'm not a med student, but my best friend is. You're in community college now. After you finish your two years there, you need to transfer to a university. You should take your MCAT in the spring of your junior year to give you time to get the results and start the application process for medical school. Those apps are due in the fall (October-December deadlines). My friends had to do like 2 applications for each school. They did the first application and then the secondary application if the school liked them. You may or may not have to do an interview as well for the school. Good luck!

Transfer to a 4 year university and get a BS degree in biology or chemistry. In your junior or senior year, take the MCAT. When you apply for med school you will need your MCAT scores. You will probably need a couple letters of recommendation too, so get to know your professors. Do some more research and find out all of the details. Every medical school has distinct requirements and some are easier to get into than others. Good luck.

O.K., let me get this right. You are starting off in community college first before going on to a college or university?
Well, take whatever courses you need that will transfer directly to upper level college or university classes. Take all the requirements and foundation courses- English, Math, History, etc. Transfer to you college or university of choice. Discuss your courses and direction with a counselor preferably at your community college, then at the university level.
You are right about classes- you will be taking lots of science and math classes.
You will probably graduate with a BS in some science field- Biology, Chemistry, etc. Your college or university of choice will help you with that.
BEFORE you apply to Med School, you will need to take the MCAT. Again, a qualified, understanding and supportive counselor at your college will help you with that.
Apply to Med Schools. Get in, go from there!
Additionally, you may want to schedule an appointment at a med school with an admissions counselor or director to ask more about qualifications and what you should be doing NOW to get ready.
Good luck!

You will need to transfer to University after you have done University Preparation courses, unless you can go to University instead of Community College. Then, you will finish your Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science and write your MCAT's for admission to medical school.
Good Luck!

At the community college you are going to attend, they will have counselors and advisors who will be able to answer all of the questions you have asked. It is important you seek their help because they have the correct answers. Most people on this site would not.
Good luck.

In "schooling"? You sound like Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies. I can understand why you have no direction. You haven't much intellect either. Please, Please Please stay away from people in the operating room.
I would suggest trade school. In-----say-----construction.
