My husband bought me this huge bleeding heart hanging basket for Mothers day, since then, the inner leaves are turning yellow, the buds fall off before they bloom. I water it when it needs it. Its gets the first sun, until about 2pm. I really dont know what Im doing wrong here. Its still pretty, just not as thick as it was!

We talked it over and we have never heard of someone using a bleeding heart in a hanging basket(but it's possible) Check a plant book, or some on line research, we think you may have a Fushia. Reguardless, both plants desire shade most of the day. Bleeding hearts are perrinial and this time of year even my best ones start to fade a little, It's their nature. Bleeding hearts should be planted in the ground in a cool shady spot and require very little attention. Fushia's are annuals, commonly seen in hanging baskets, they dont like to much sun and watering wont help. I sure hope I havent made your ? tougher.

Bleeding Hearts are a perennial so as meaning it is going to come decrease back 365 days after 365 days. i'd imagine it may favor to be contained in the floor. A tire is one thanks to bypass for positive. in addition they prefer color, so are you able to position the tire in a shady spot? if so your off to the races ! have interesting.
