Right now because their friends all do it, its a fashion statement, and nobody wants to be different.

It's a trend. They think they look cool. If a girl wore low rise, she'd be called a slut. I don't follow trends so I don't worry anymore about what I wear, Oh, but I do get a nice laugh at these fashion choices some follow.

they picked that up from mtv, some gangsta rapper, started wearin them like that, then guess who started wearin them like that....... it is suppose to be to show people that they have so much loot that their pockets are heavy and their pants slide down, I personally think that if more of those guys get sexually molested because of the way they wear their pants that , tha fad would change, i dont think it looks cool , it looks stupid, better not try no gangsta stuff like that , dont try to run from the cops, like that, there has to be some good points , the one that sticks out to me it would be hard to get kicked in the nuts, lol

lol my grandma was talking about that before.. she saw a boy with his pants down low and he was trying to talk to me and stuff.. and she came over there and started to bother the boy..
"What you doin'? Why ya'll pants hangin down.. you too cheap to buy a belt?"
"No.."
"See, Jenna... this boy too cheap for ya'll.. Pick up your pants.. better yet.."
Then my grandma picked the pants up for him! It came all the way to his chest! He ran away after that.. mayne that boy was fine too.. I'm think I need to tell her I'm a little to old for her so called "protection" especially since I'm 24!

thats a good question it looks so unappropriate and soon as you see a guy coming towards you dressed that way it make me think hes up to know good. they call it the styke but it needs to stop looks like they have to go to the bathroom or somethan

Usually they have no butt to hold them up. Or maybe they really like their panties and want to show them off. I've noticed, however, if you say "Nice Panties!" they usually pull their pants up - so who can say.
