Writers' block is nothing more than a false idea that exists in the mind, more or less a fear of not writing up to ones own expectations. Feel free to break down the wall and open the treasure chest of stories and words, do not fear to write. Your goal as a writer is to give a gift to yourself, and that opens up countless doors in the mind. I have never had writers block, it is important to open the door and create characters and breathe to life the essence of a powerful story than to worry about whether ones writing is dull or lacking in some grammatical way. The mind the powerhouse of all human creativity, and there are times when we are unquestionably incapable of creating, those are the times to think. Take a walk or shut your eyes and listen to the sounds around you, perhaps those sounds will give you some insight into the inner workings of your own thought process, although you may feel liberated and free from the imaginary prison from which you think exists. Writers block is a complete joke, and always remember, the act of writing is the most challenging aspect of writing. Writers talk all day about writing the great American novel, it doesn't matter anymore. Write, write, write. If for anything else, write for yourself.

Take a break from your work and relax--don't even think about it. Something will come to you. Believe me, I've been there. I've had writers' block for some time now, but I think that I've finally got something. Writers' block may seem to last forever, but it'll be over before you know it. If you come up with any ideas while you still have writers' block, write them down, even if they're not the greatest. You might be able to perfect them and use them in your work. But what's worked the best for me is to get it off my mind and do something else. I end up getting my best ideas when I'm preoccupied with something that has absolutely nothing to do with my work. Hope this helps!

Paint the house, wash the dog, eat right, exercise. See movies, see copies of movies. I like comedy and write comedies of errors. My method eventually sinks in.
I write everyday. I write to be use full, to critique, have many, many story-lines, so I do not get trapped into the block. My cup runeth over, so there is no time to cry over spilled milk.
You will move on, you already are there, as you have created such an interest in this subject. I will read your story tonight.
all is well

Honestly...put the chapter away for a few weeks and let it sit. Take time to recuperate. You need to get away from the story for a while and go out and gather new material anyways.
One of my favorite things to do to get my mind working is go to a restaurant and look at the people, and make up stories (in my head of course) about them based off of what I see. Make it as weird or as romantic or as dark or whatever you want. It's quite fun, and gets you thinking about other things that maybe you can work in later. :)

it's OK to rest sometimes. Especially if the block comes after a lot of writing...you should rest.
But, if you're just starting, then sit with the blank page in front of you and just start typing anything--no matter how rediculous--that comes to mind. Just let it out...alll of it...anything.
After that junk is out of the way, then some real ideas surface. Real quality stuff. It's like the junk was in the way and had to get out.
Hope this helps...

most of my inspiration comes from my real life experience. so that means i need to HAVE real life experience to be able to use it. go out and live life. keep a note pad w/ you at all times. jot down phrases and ideas- even if they don't make sense at the time. it will all fall into place eventually.
another tip is to move on to another place in the story- then come back and fill in the blank areas. sometimes the end of the story writes the middle.
hope this helps!

what you do is on a seperate sheet of paper write about anything, keep writing even if you have mispellings and improper sentences. the key is you will began to write until ideas pop in your head. you than can think more creative that when you go back to where u would write your chapter. your mind will have so many ideas than because you have written what ever came to you even if it didnt sound to good.

Research. I find that when I get writer's block, it's because I don't know what I'm talking about. It's important to get the details right, even for fiction.

The best way to solve this is not to push it. Let it come to you. If you don't think about it for a while, something will come. Probably really late at night when you're just about to fall asleep and then can't sleep until you finish it! Good Luck!!

the best way to overcome writers block is to take a short break but then to write down any ideas that you get...even if they are silly and stupid. Then look back at your silly ideas and see if you can get inspired.
