Guys complain about make-up and yet they go after all the girls that are wearing make-up. I don't understand that. If they hate it so much why do they go with girls that wear it.

i dont think its that they"dont like make-up" but they have an issue with girls that wear too much make-up for instance, my brother hates when his wife wears alot of make-up because it stains his clothing when they hug eachother, and when you dont wear alot of make-up you dont have that issue.

I'm not really sure as to why guys claim they hate makeup--most of the guys I know are apathetic about it. But I think they go for girls who wear makeup because generally these girls are a bit more confident about themselves. Girls don't wear makeup to look good for guys--they wear it to feel better about themselves. Though superficial appearances are definitely not the most important aspect of a person, at times makeup can make girls feel as if they've taken extra care to present themselves in a manner that might attract more attention than if they didn't wear makeup at all.
I guess it really has to do with the way girls who wear makeup carry themselves; usually they are a lot more confident and are willing to start conversations with guys, and guys are attracted to that. This all comes from what I've observed; there's no way to say for sure, but all I know is that guys are probably not going after the girls with makeup so to speak, but they're more attracted to the confidence that these girls exhibit.

because the fact that a girl wears makeup doesn't change who she is as a person. and that is no reason not to go out with a girl. personality counts as well. and natural looks. but even with makeup, recent surveys have shown that most men prefere girls without makeup or with very little natural looking makeup....

They don't like make up on themselves because it's not made for guys. So I don't agree with you when you say that guys "hate make up". Most guys like girls who wear make up (we look better with it, it's the truth) They don't like when girls over do it though...

I wear makeup to enhance my featurez (my eyez) & my guy tellz me he lovez me witout tha eyeliiner n mascara. But he fiindz me attractive in both wayz. The guyz prolly mean they dun want a gurl that iz a walkiing & liiving barbie doll.

I don't like too much make up.
The only time my girlfriend puts on makeup is when there is a formal function we are going to. And then it is still minimal.

maybe because some girls put on enough makeup to enhance their looks, but not so much it's really noticeable. My boyfriend didn't realize I even wore makeup until I told him.

b/c most girls look better with make up...and if they don't they look a bit "scary" ....in other words..most guys dont like a girl's natural look..they like to see a girll look pretty
