You can do everything perfect for him and that isn't going to make him appreciate you. It is his basic personality that will either be appreciative or not.
He was raised in a way that he isn't polite enough to say thankg you or even notice that you do nice things for him.
You would be amazed if you dated someone else who knows how to is openly thankful.
Also, talk to him about this. Tell him that you need some validation that he appreciates you. I have a feeling if you ask him what more you can do for him, he will be selfish and demand you do things for him which would be selfish.
It goes both ways, you treat him good, he treats you good.Thats how it is suppose to be.

well you need to write down the things that he does that bothers you and makes you feel that he does not apreciate you. then sit with him and tell him that you dont feel that he apreciates you and tell him why, then listen to what he has to say about it, and maybe that will shed some light on the issues for you. he might be doing things that he thinks are ok, not knowing that it is hurting you, so if you let him know that its bothering you more than likely he will say sorry and tell you that he wont do those things anymore now that he knows they hurt you. good luck.

He probably *does* love and appreciate you; he just shows it differently than you want b/c your thought processes are different. If you really feel that he's taking you for granted, talk to him about it & ask him to come up with a solution with you.

behave in such a way that makes you worth loving and appreciating for starters, then refuse to settle for anything less and make sure he is someone capable of loving and appreciating someone else.
