You will need a TV card in order to accept video input.

As stated, you would need a TV card. Alternatively, you can also pick up a DVD-ROM (or better - a DVD burner) for fairly cheap. Installation is easy - just open the computer case and it's 2 wire connectors and 4 screws.

Depending on your computer's grahic card and the OUTPUTS of your DVD player you MAY be able to hook your DVD player to your computer.

*IF* you computer's graphic card has either COMPOSITE or SVideo Input sockets, as you player must have the same outputs as well. You may be able to do so.

Since it appears you're not that well versed in computer hardware and most likely DVD players as well, I would suggest you find a neighbor, friend or family member to assist you in finding out your computer's video card's capabilities as well as your DVD player's.

If you need more info you may either IM or Email me.
