put and old cloth over the wax...now iron the cloth. The wax will melt and get sucked into the old cloth. it might take several times to get it all. make sure your iron isn't too hot.. don't want to scorch the tablecloth.

Put the tablecloth in the freezer until the wax is hard. Chip off the wax. There will probably be a greasy residue. Dawn dish soap is good because it removes grease, apply to the area and wash (provided your tablecloth is machine washable). Hopefully it's not red wax on a white cloth, as you may never be able to remove the dye without bleaching, but you could bleach if it is a white cloth. Good luck. It may not come out 100%, but this will remove most of the traces.

I had spilled candle wax on a cotton blend throw rug, so I boiled a tea kettle of water, and poured it over my rug, over the bath tub, and it lifted it out, completely!

Some candles have an oil base to them, so, depending what the candle has in it, theres a good chance this may just work for you! (this has more of a chance to lift the wax then something cold would, ice didnt work at all) Good Luck!

I Love candles and i get wax on alot of stuff so get some wax paper place it on the waxed area then take your iron put on low heat and iron just a little and the wax will warm up and stick to the wax paper.

You put some ice cubes on the wax to get it very hard. Then you scrape the tablecloth.

I had a similar situation with a sweater and thought I'd use hot water (boil it out). While it removed some of it, it mostly made a mess. I ended up taking it to dry cleaning...

Oh, I wouldn't try "icing" it. While some of it may come off, most of it will simply dig into the fabric as you try to scrape it off. Hot water will make it run like mine did. Trust me... dry cleaning!

GOO GONE!! It's amazing stuff.. It took a whole glob of silly putty out of the sheer over lay of my daughters easter dress. It didn't leave behind a sticky mess or any kind of residsue.. Simply wash after treating as normal. Good luck

Freeze it.
It will flake off. Don't know about putting it the freezer. You can try ice cubes on it.
Dry ice is fast, but you may not need to use that.
