I am a week late and want to know if I need to rush out and take a pregnancy test?

I've been on the pill for 5 years and have never missed a period or been this late before. And yes, my husband and I have had sex this month.....................

it might happen. you probably should take a test.
on the other hand, it could be menopause?

You can miss your period when you are on birth control. Have you missed taking your pills any of the days?? Have you been taking any antibiotics?? If no to both of these questions . . . then I highly doubt it. Taking birth control can change your monthly flow just because of the hormones in it. I wouldn't be too worried but if it makes you feel better than take the test.

Yes! There could be any number of reasons for it. Don't worry (just yet)...it is too soon. I hope you were taking your birth control pills regularly. If you don't get one next month; you will have to find out what is going on...and do I dare say it? Get a pregnancy test.

Yes. Several years ago I missed my period for about 7 months in a row. I was on the pill and I wasn't pregnant. I did go to my doctor to get checked out and she said it was probably just stress.

take a test, you probably are. It depends on what type of birth control you were using and for how long. If it was the pill, did you miss any? take a test to be sure.

When I was on the Pill I very rarely had a period. I actually at one point went 3 months w/o one! And my OB was fine with it.

A lot of woman don't get a full cycle on the pill and alot of them don't get one at all.

if ur a week late and u didnt have sex then ua re not if u did then be scared

if your a week late, and have had sex, you should buy a preg. test. but if you haven't has sex, you are fine.
